Maine Crisps Featured in Culture Magazine

Waterville, ME (December 28, 2018)  -  Maine Crisp Company, a specialty cracker business, had their Cinnamon Maple Crisp featured in Culture magazine’s “Best Of” issue’s,“The Best Sweet Accompaniments” article. Maine Crisp co-founder, Karen Getz, had previous experience making cheese with one of Culture’s co-founders, Kate Arding, at Getz’s dairy farm in Vermont in the fall of 2008. A former award winning farmstead cheesemaker herself, Getz was, “delighted”, to once again join the cheese world with a new product pairing, Maine Crisps, alongside “many great accompaniments”, Getz said.

In this special issue, Culture authors wrote about the Cinnamon Maple flavor, saying, “While the world of gluten-free crackers has expanded over the past few years, there aren't many that can truly stand up to a creamy wedge of cheese - but these can. Maine Crisp Co. Cinnamon Maple Crisps are plenty sturdy and pack a wallop of warm flavor from organic cinnamon and pure maple syrup. Slather them with fresh goat cheese for an easy post-holiday breakfast, or crumble them atop mascarpone ice cream for a creamy-crunchy dessert.”

Maine Crisp co-founders Steve and Karen Getz were happy to feature a unique Maine product in this national magazine.
