Are you figgin’ kidding me with this bacon fig jam?! no. no we are not. this is real life, friend - and paired with triple creme brie you might need to pinch yourself.
1 cup prepared fig spread
4 oz crispy cooked bacon, crumbled
1 teaspoon leftover bacon drippings
A couple servings of triple creme brie (we love St. Andre)
1 box of Cranberry Almond Crisps
handful of chopped fresh thyme and basil
Cook off the bacon until crispy, drain the fat and set aside. Cut up the bacon into small bits.
In a small bowl, combine 1 cup of prepared fig spread with crumbled crispy-cooked bacon and 1 teaspoon of the leftover bacon drippings. stir well and serve alongside creamy brie and Cranberry Almond Crisps.
